雅各書4:13-17 主題：警戒自誇

注意！

Come now

有人說

you who say

今天或明天我們要往某城去

Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town

在那裏住一年

and spend a year there

做買賣賺錢

and trade and make a profit

其實明天如何　你們還不知道

yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring

你們的生命是甚麼呢？

What is your life?

你們原來是一片雲霧

For you are a mist that appears for a little time

出現片刻就不見了

and then vanishes

你們倒應當說

Instead you ought to say

主若願意

If the Lord wills

我們就能活著

we will live

也可以做這事或那事

and do this or that

現今你們竟然狂傲自誇

As it is, you boast in your arrogance

凡這樣的自誇都是邪惡的

All such boasting is evil

所以

So

人若知道該行善而不去行

whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it

這就是他的罪了

for him it is sin
