我們用舌頭頌讚我們的主

We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father

又用舌頭詛咒照著上帝形像被造的人

but then we curse people who were created in God's likeness

頌讚和詛咒從同一個口出來

These praises and curses come from the same mouth

My brothers and sisters

這是不應該的

this should not happen

泉源能從一個出口發出甜苦兩樣的水嗎？

Do good water and bad water flow from the same spring?

無花果樹能生橄欖嗎？

can a fig tree make olives?

葡萄樹能結無花果嗎？

Or can a grapevine make figs?

鹹水也不能流出甜水來

a well full of salty water cannot give good water
